Rug Care and Cleaning
At J.L. Williard Carpet Care Inc. we also specialize in the care and cleaning of area rugs. Area rugs may be comprised of a range of fibers from high grade wools to blends of man-made materials. Often times they require specialized, milder cleaning agents to make them look their best without harming them.
At our shop we can work on your rugs in a safe environment (not on your hard wood floors) to get them to their absolute cleanest! We give your rug the royal treatment right down to the fringe.
We will pick up your rug (including moving the furniture), clean it, and put it back down in your home. However, our really industrious customers may save 20% off the cleaning price by bringing in and picking up their rugs themselves. Just be sure to call ahead to make sure our staff are there to greet you and lend a hand!
Rug Padding
Have you ever thought to yourself, “I hope I have the right type of padding under my rug”? Probably not. Padding is something we rarely ever think about.
However, a good quality pad for your rug can extend its life. Correct padding will provide cushion to your rug and prolong its good looks. It will also prevent “walking” or unwanted shifting for rugs that are placed on hard surfaces.
When it’s time to get that rug cleaned just tell our staff that you are interested in purchasing padding as well. We will cut a pad to exactly fit your rug and put both down in your home to your specifications.
